By placing an order with Calcasieu Sand & Gravel, requesting a quote, using our website at calcasieusandandgravel.com, or communicating with us via phone, text, email, or web form, you agree to these Terms of Service.
These terms apply to all customers, including residential homeowners, contractors, landscapers, and commercial buyers.
We may update these terms at any time. The current version is always posted at calcasieusandandgravel.com/terms. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not place an order or use our website.
Calcasieu Sand & Gravel supplies and delivers bulk aggregate materials in Calcasieu Parish and surrounding areas of Southwest Louisiana. Our services include:
We reserve the right to decline any order that presents safety risks, access limitations we cannot accommodate, or falls outside our current service area.
Product availability may vary. If a specific material is not available on your requested date, we will contact you to discuss alternatives or reschedule.
How to Order: Orders are accepted by phone at (337) 545-3022, by email at info@calcasieusandandgravel.com, or through the contact form at calcasieusandandgravel.com/contact. Provide your delivery address, material type, quantity needed, and preferred delivery date.
Quotes: All quotes are estimates based on information you provide. Final pricing is confirmed before the order is dispatched. Quotes are valid for 7 business days.
Payment Terms: Payment is due at time of delivery unless a credit account has been established in advance. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Returned checks are subject to a $35 returned check fee.
Contractor Accounts: Qualified contractors may apply for NET-30 billing. Contact us to request an application. We reserve the right to approve or deny credit accounts at our discretion. Past-due balances accrue interest at 1.5% per month.
Pricing: Prices listed on our website or provided verbally are subject to change without notice. The confirmed price at time of order placement governs the transaction.
Volume pricing is available for orders exceeding 50 tons. Ask us when you call for a quote.
Delivery Area: We deliver throughout Calcasieu Parish and to select locations in Cameron, Beauregard, and Jeff Davis parishes. Deliveries outside this area may incur additional charges.
Delivery Windows: Standard deliveries occur Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday, 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We provide estimated delivery windows but cannot guarantee specific arrival times. Traffic, weather, and equipment factors affect scheduling.
Next-Day Delivery: Orders placed before noon on a business day are eligible for next-day delivery based on truck availability and route capacity. Next-day delivery is not guaranteed.
Access Requirements: You are responsible for ensuring safe truck access to the delivery site. Our trucks require a minimum 12-foot clearance width, firm ground capable of supporting loaded vehicle weights, and no overhead obstructions below 14 feet. Failure to provide adequate access may result in redelivery charges or cancellation of the order.
Placement: Our driver will place material as close to your requested location as safe truck access allows. We are not responsible for placement limitations caused by site conditions, soft ground, narrow access, or low clearance. The driver's judgment on safe placement is final.
Delivery Confirmation: Deliveries are considered complete when material is deposited at the agreed site. You or a designated representative should be present when possible. If no one is present, we will deliver per your instructions at your acceptance of responsibility for placement.
Load Weights: Loads are weighed before departure. Invoices reflect actual delivered weight.
Our materials are sourced from established Louisiana quarries and processors. We sell materials to published or quoted specifications.
Grading and Specification: We represent that materials meet the general specifications described at time of sale (particle size, material type). We do not warrant suitability for any specific engineering, structural, or regulatory requirement unless stated in writing.
Natural Variation: Bulk natural materials including sand, gravel, limestone, topsoil, and mulch exhibit natural variation in color, texture, and composition. This is normal and not a defect.
Suitability: You are responsible for determining whether a material is suitable for your specific application. If you are unsure, request a consultation before ordering. We will not accept returns or issue credits based on a material being unsuitable for a use we were not informed of at time of order.
No Implied Warranties: We make no implied warranties beyond those stated here. We do not warrant merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose unless specifically represented in writing.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a delivery or purchase is limited to the amount paid for that specific order.

Before delivery, you are responsible for marking or communicating the location of underground utilities, irrigation systems, or other buried infrastructure. Call 811 before you dig. We are not responsible for damage to unmarked subsurface features.
Louisiana law governs all transactions. Any disputes shall be resolved in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.
Cancellations: Orders may be cancelled without charge if notice is given at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery. Call (337) 545-3022 or email info@calcasieusandandgravel.com to cancel.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a restocking or trip charge of up to $75, depending on whether the load was already staged for delivery.
Delivered Materials: Once material has been delivered and placed, it cannot be returned. We do not accept returns of bulk aggregate materials after delivery is complete.
Incorrect Orders: If we deliver the wrong material due to our error, we will arrange removal and redelivery at no additional cost to you. Notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
Short Loads: If your delivered load is materially short of the ordered quantity, contact us within 24 hours. We will verify weight records and issue a credit or schedule a makeup delivery if warranted.
By placing an order, you represent that you have the right to authorize delivery to the specified location and to permit our vehicles access to the property.
Driveway and Surface Damage: Bulk material deliveries involve loaded trucks that may weigh 70,000 pounds or more. Concrete driveways, pavers, thin asphalt, and soft ground are at risk of cracking or rutting under this weight. You accept this risk when authorizing delivery. We will exercise reasonable care but cannot guarantee that surfaces will be undamaged.
Soft Ground: Delivery during or after heavy rain increases the risk of ruts and soil disturbance. If the ground is soft, notify us when scheduling so we can discuss options. Our driver may decline to drive onto soft ground at their discretion to prevent getting stuck.
Third-Party Properties: If the delivery location requires crossing a neighbor's property or a shared driveway, you are responsible for obtaining permission before delivery.
Hazardous Conditions: Our drivers will not enter properties with conditions that pose a safety risk to people, trucks, or structures. If a driver declines entry, you may be charged a trip fee. Contact us to reschedule once conditions are corrected.
We are not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events outside our reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to:
In these situations, we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule. No penalty applies for delays caused by force majeure events. You may cancel without charge if rescheduling is not workable for your project.
Calcasieu Sand & Gravel may communicate with customers via SMS text messaging for order confirmations, delivery updates, scheduling notifications, and follow-up on quotes.
Consent: By providing your mobile phone number on our contact form, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you consent to receive SMS messages from Calcasieu Sand & Gravel related to your order. Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on order activity.
Opt Out: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. After opting out, you will receive one confirmation message and no further SMS messages. Opting out of SMS does not cancel your order or affect other communications.
