Yes. #57 compacts into a stable driveway surface. The 3/4-inch angular pieces grip each other instead of shifting around. It's a solid base-layer choice too. Put #610 on top if you want a finer finish.
How much do I need for a French drain?
Standard trench: 50 feet long, 12 inches wide, 18 inches deep takes roughly 0.8 cubic yards. Deeper or wider trenches need more. Run your numbers through the calculator above and call us with the total.
What is the difference between #57 and #67 stone?
#57 is 3/4-inch, uniform. #67 runs 3/4 to 1 inch, so the pieces are a bit bigger and less consistent. Both drain well. Use #57 for French drains and pipe bedding. #67 makes more sense for larger drainage beds where tight grading isn't required.
